Hi,

I am a pianist who has always composed music in one form or another.

Pop, jazz, Latin, blues, folk or lyrical ballads - whatever sounds good.

From an early age I was introduced to a wide range of music, whatever my parents were putting on the turntable - Elgar, Rimsky-Korsakov, Gilbert & Sullivan, the Hollywood musicals - and along with film and TV themes, and the pop songs of the day, it all seeped in - I tried my hand at everything. Then in my thirties I discovered the seductive sounds of jazz and blues and Latin, and that opened up a whole new world of exciting rhythms and harmonies.

So my song albums 'Peace' and 'Never Stop Dreaming' are a varied mix, exploring themes such as cats, birds, Dave Brubeck, samba, Slough, solitude, and the quirks of relationships, as well as big issues close to my heart, such as peace and happiness. And, coupled with some amazingly talented musicians and the marvellously clear and tuneful voice of Lea Lyle, I'm hoping you'll find something to your taste here. On the latest album, 'Never Stop Dreaming', Lea Lyle and the Phil Craddock 4 are joined by three exceptional guest performers - tenor saxophonists Vasilis Xenopoulos and Duncan Lamont Jnr, and flautist Annie Parker.
